Frequently asked questions.
Oh my God, why?
We genuinely love all of these carpets, and think they deserve the love. The Colouring Inn is a project of love started during lockdown to capture the essence of the pub carpet.
Are you affiliated with any chain of pub?
No, we have nothing to do with any chain of pub. Although, if we’re being honest, being asked to design a Spoons carpet is all anyone really wants from life.

Do you deliver to my country?
If your country is in the UK, yes.
If it is not, drop an email over (contact@thecolouringinn.co.uk), and we can arrange separate shipping options. If it’s a particularly amusing request, we’ll make it happen.
Are you impacted by COVID-19?
Luckily, we’ve escaped the worst of the COVID delays so far. However there are some delays in production and shipping due to the pandemic, so please allow for 5-10 working days for delivery.
If there are any longer delays, we will contact you via email.
How long will my books take to arrive?
Given the whole pandemic situation, please allow for 5-10 working days for delivery. If you need an order for a tight deadline before then, drop an email over to contact@thecolouringinn.co.uk, or use the contact form, and we will try to sort something out. How much does shipping cost?
For the time being, we are offering first class postage for free.
Colouring Book FAQs
What paper do you use? Is it suitable for inks / pencils / pens etc?
Both the full colour homage and the colour your own version are printed on 300gsm uncoated recycled paper. This is suitable for any inks or pens you’re likely to have. We’ve tested them in house with solid blocks of felt tip pens and we’ve never seen any bleed through.
Why did you pick one Spoons over another?
The choice of Spoons stems from a highly complex process of having wondered around many different cities measuring carpets. Due to reasons beyond our control, this became an increasingly boozy mission throughout the day and therefore we’ve stuck to choosing the carpet which is the optimum blend of centrally located, interesting looking and good for colouring.
